2018年、31歳の時にWEBマーケティング企業の代表から画家に転身する。

画家に転身する以前は絵画を学んでいたわけでもなく、絵を描き続けていたわけでもないが、人生をかけてやりたいことを模索する中で画家という道に出会い転身を決意する。

絵を本格的に描き始めたのは実に15年振りのこととなる。

しかしながら、画家になった初月から作品は売れ続け、韓国での展示やドバイ、パリでの展示、青山、上野の森美術館での個展を行う。
長年マーケティング業務に従事していた経験から、画家としての常識にとらわれない自由な作風、活動に注目が集まっている。

In 2018, at the age of 31, Yasuhiro Yajiima made the transition from being the director of a group of companies with annual sales of 4 billion yen to becoming a painter. Prior to this transition, he neither studied painting nor painted continuously.

In his search finding what he really wanted to do with his life, he found the path to becoming a painter and made the change.

In truth, this was the first time he painted after 15 years. However, his paintings continued to sell from his first month of becoming a painter.

He was so successful that he held exhibitions in Korea, Dubai, and Paris. From his years of experience working in the marketing industry along with his free style that is not constrained by the common sense of an artist, his activities continue to attract attention.
